Location. The Mansion on Forsyth Park in Savannah, Ga., is a Victorian Romanesque mansion featuring a horse drawn carriage and dark mahogany paneling and rich furnishings. The vintage and contemporary shops of River Street are one mile away and Forsyth Park is adjacent. The Johnny Mercer house is five blocks away and the Juliette Gordon Low birthplace is less than one mile from the property.
Hotel Features. The pride of the mansion is 700 Drayton, the on site restaurant with six private dining rooms, two lounge areas and a terrace that overlooks magnificent Forsyth Park. The chefs of 700 Drayton prepare an eclectic menu that is a fusion of continental and urban cuisine. The hotel includes meeting and event space and high speed Internet access. The Mansion on Forsyth Park features an outdoor pool and a patio. The Poseidon Spa offers over 40 different treatments, a locker room with steam showers and a 24 hour fitness center that features cardiovascular equipment.
